Accessibility Information
As a unified and deeply connected community, we are committed to creating an environment that’s accessible to all. During Commencement weekend ceremonies, there will be sign language interpreters, and/or computer aided real-time translation (CART). There will also be accessible shuttles available throughout Commencement weekend and event staff will be on-site at Convocation and Commencement ceremonies for information and/or assistance with accessibility accommodations.

Commencement Ceremony Accessibility Accommodations
Accessibility accommodations for Sunday’s Commencement ceremony can be requested for guests using personal or rented wheelchairs, with limited mobility, or those who are in need of hearing-impaired services.
Accessibility Accomodation Form
Wheelchair Accessible Seating: Event staff can assist with directing guests who are attending using a personal or rented wheelchair to an available accessible seating section.
Wheelchair Accessible Entrances: JMA Wireless Dome Gates A, C, G and N. Please note, all accessible shuttles taking guests from parking lots or garages to the JMA Wireless Dome will drop off guests to Gate A.
Limited Mobility: There will be event staff available onsite who can assist guests with limited mobility to and from their seats in general audience seating. We recommend entering through Gate A for assistance with limited mobility.
American Sign Language: ASL interpreters will be available. Preferred seating can be requested by submitting the “Accessibility Accommodation” form linked below.
Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) can be viewed on the ribbon boards that are located around the JMA Wireless Dome.
Convocation Accessibility Accommodations
Accessibility accommodations for Convocation ceremonies, or other Commencement Weekend-related events and ceremonies, are available at each event location. Event staff will be onsite at all locations for assistance with accommodations.

Accessible Shuttles and Parking
Accessible shuttles are available to and from campus ceremonies or receptions throughout the weekend. Parking lot attendants will be available onsite for assistance.
Wheelchair Rental Information
Syracuse University does not provide wheelchair rental services for Commencement weekend. You may contact one of the following local vendors for wheelchair rental services.
